Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. The rate of pay is $16 / hour based on a 40 hour work week and is located at 859 Boston Providence Turnpike Norwood, MA 02062.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights
• Inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report warning lights or damage
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers
• Assist customers when needed, including transport to/from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including interior and exterior cleaning of branch location
• Responsible for cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other cleanliness tasks
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship for this position now or in the future
• At least 18 years old

Schedule

• Sunday 8:30 am - 1:00 pm or Saturday 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
• Monday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday flexible
• Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
• Saturday 8:30 am - 1:00 pm or Sunday 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
