Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a part time Automotive Detailer. The starting compensation for this job is $17 per hour based on a 25 hour workweek. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. The position is located at 1101 N Evergreen Ave Deptford, NJ 08096.

• Sunday: OFF
• Monday: 8:00AM-5:30PM
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: 8:00AM-5:30PM
• Thursday: OFF
• Friday: 8:00AM-5:30PM
• Saturday: OFF

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals. Responsibilities include:

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance responsibilities include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other daily cleanliness tasks
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license that is not in provisional or probationary status
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
• Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes to the location within 30 days of anticipated start date
