About the role

Join our team as an Automotive Parts Shipping & Receiving Specialist! You will be part of the team that ensures the shipping, receiving, and delivery of automotive parts by maintaining inventory control and records. You will receive the necessary paid training to perform your assigned duties successfully.

At Woodhouse, you're not just an employee—you're part of our family. We proudly operate 24 locations representing 22 renowned brands. As a member of our team, you'll benefit from comprehensive training programs, mentorship opportunities, and a collaborative work environment that fosters growth. We value your contributions and are committed to helping you reach your full potential. Join us and be part of a thriving community where your skills are recognized, your ambitions are supported, and your career can flourish!

Building on that foundation, Parts Direct serves as the wholesale division of the Auto Family. Operating from three expansive warehouses in Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri with more than 200,000 sq. ft. of inventory, Parts Direct connects auto parts suppliers and buyers with speed and precision. Shops and distributors across eight Midwestern states rely on us for a wide range of premium national and local brand parts, backed by real-time order updates and fast, dependable delivery. From warehouse to workshop, Parts Direct keeps vehicles running and businesses moving.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the shipping, receiving, and delivery of automotive parts by maintaining inventory control and records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings: background check, drug screening, physical, and lift test.
  • As part of the hiring process, background checks are conducted on candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment. This may include a review of criminal records, motor vehicle reports, employment history, sexual offender registries, and other relevant information. Background checks are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, and all candidates will be required to provide written consent before the check is initiated. A previous criminal record does not automatically disqualify you from employment; each case is reviewed individually.
  • As part of the employment process, Woodhouse is committed to ensuring a safe, productive, and drug-free work environment. To achieve this goal, all prospective employees are required to undergo a drug screening following a conditional offer of employment.
