The Automotive Sales Associate (bilingual-Spanish) plays a critical role in driving vehicle sales and delivering exceptional customer service within a dynamic dealership environment. This position requires engaging with a diverse customer base, understanding their automotive needs, and guiding them through the sales process from initial inquiry to final purchase. The associate will leverage bilingual communication skills to effectively connect with Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clear understanding and satisfaction. Success in this role contributes directly to the dealership’s revenue growth and reputation for outstanding customer experience. The associate will also collaborate closely with the sales team and management to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Follow up with prospective and existing customers to build relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Prepare and process sales documentation accurately and efficiently in compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about new vehicle models, industry trends, and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a bilingual automotive dealership environment.
  • Familiarity with automotive financing and leasing options.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Certification in automotive sales or customer service training programs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Skills:

The required bilingual communication skills enable the associate to effectively engage with a broad customer base, ensuring clear and culturally sensitive interactions. Sales expertise is applied daily to identify customer needs, present suitable vehicle options, and negotiate deals that satisfy both the customer and dealership objectives. Organizational skills are essential for managing multiple customer interactions, maintaining accurate sales records, and coordinating with finance and service departments. Proficiency with CRM and sales software supports efficient tracking of leads and follow-ups, enhancing customer relationship management. Additionally, adaptability and problem-solving skills help the associate respond to diverse customer scenarios and evolving dealership priorities, ensuring a seamless sales process.
