Automotive Sales Consultant

Friesen Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. As a Sales Consultant, you will help customers find the right vehicle for their needs, provide product knowledge, and ensure an exceptional buying experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and build positive relationships through friendly, professional service.
• Listen to customer needs, ask questions, and help match them with the right new or pre-owned vehicle.
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations, test drives, and product presentations.
• Provide transparent pricing, financing options, and purchase details.
• Guide customers through the sales process, including paperwork and delivery of the vehicle.
• Follow up with leads, walk-ins, and previous customers to generate repeat and referral business.
• Maintain strong knowledge of current inventory, vehicle features, and manufacturer incentives.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and dealership performance standards.
• Collaborate with the sales team, finance department, and management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; additional sales or business training is a plus.
• Prior automotive sales experience preferred, but not required — we provide training for the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, customer-first attitude.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and follow up effectively.
• Basic computer and CRM skills; ability to learn dealership software.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
