About the role

As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting customers with their vehicle purchase, providing information about available models, and ensuring a positive buying experience. Your enthusiasm for automobiles and excellent communication skills will contribute to the success of our sales department.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand customers' needs and preferences and recommend suitable vehicles.
• Conduct test drives to showcase features and performance.
• Stay up-to-date on the features, specifications, and pricing of all available vehicle models to provide accurate and detailed information to customers.
• Guide customers through the sales process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and trade-ins.
• Negotiate and finalize sales agreements in a transparent and customer-friendly manner.
• Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers for potential repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with other sales team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
• Utilize effective sales techniques to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous sales experience in a commission or quota-driven role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for automobiles and a genuine interest in helping customers.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
• Preferred: Previous experience in automotive sales.
• Preferred: Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Benefits

• Compensation (Draw plus commission): $60,000 - $200,000+ per year if meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Base monthly compensation.
• Commission compensation based on closed sales, $0 if no sales, with no upper limit.
• Production bonus based on individual or team performance, $0 if benchmarks not met, with no fixed upper limit.
• Full time.
• 5 days a week / 2 days off.
• Open 7 days a week Monday-Sunday.
