Lou Bachrodt Automotive Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the automotive industry. As a key member of our team, the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, implementing sales strategies, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Provide effective leadership and direction to the sales team, including setting sales targets, developing sales strategies, and motivating team members to achieve their goals.
• Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize sales performance and maximize revenue.
• Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop sales team members, providing ongoing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring that all interactions with customers are professional, efficient, and result in a positive experience.
• Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure that the dealership has the right mix and quantity of vehicles to meet customer demand and achieve sales targets.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate sales processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including those related to sales practices, customer privacy, and vehicle transactions.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including finance, marketing, and service, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements

• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.

• All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks and drug test.
