About the role
Commercial Automotive Fleet Sales Manager / Government Sales
GM/Chrysler Commercial Fleet | Experienced Sales & Ordering | Full-Time
The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is expanding its Commercial Fleet Sales Department and seeking an experienced Commercial Automotive Fleet Sales Manager to join its growing team.
If you're experienced in commercial vehicle sales, government contracts, or fleet ordering and enjoy building long-term business relationships, this is an opportunity to grow with an automotive organization.
Minimum 2 years of automotive sales/ordering experience required.
Hertrich is a third-generation, family-owned dealership group with 24 dealerships, 15 collision centers, and 18 automotive brands across Delmarva and beyond. The company supports 90+ local charities while maintaining a culture of integrity, accountability, teamwork, and excellence.

Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with commercial, fleet, and government customers
- Identify customer vehicle and equipment needs
- Prepare competitive quotes using contract pricing
- Manage vehicle specifications, ordering, and tracking
- Coordinate vehicle deliveries and aftermarket equipment
- Maintain manufacturer and commercial product knowledge
- Grow fleet sales through exceptional customer service
Requirements
- 2+ years automotive sales/ordering experience required
- Commercial, fleet, or government sales ordering experience preferred
- GM, Chrysler, or multi-line experience a plus
- Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with vehicle specifications and aftermarket equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record
