Experienced Retail Automotive Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening to and consulting with customers.
• Follow up with customers about services requested, estimated completion times, etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations; build computerized repair orders and source parts.
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers, as well as promote shop service specials.
• Lead, manage, and train the team while keeping in tune with the company's vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed.
• Supervise up to ten employees.
• Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing, and repairing of domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucks.
• Maintain inventory counts.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of retail store manager experience.
• Automotive service writing experience.
• Excellent customer service disposition.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teammates.
• Team-building skills.
• Ability to follow directions and process.
• Ability to use computers and software.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license.
