Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full-time Seasonal Automotive Detailer. This is a seasonal position located at 800 US Highway 41 BYP S Venice, FL 34285, with flexible start dates between December and January. This position cannot exceed 150 days.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel levels and warning lights.
• Inspect windshields for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found.
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed.
• Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for any safety concerns; report any warning lights, vehicle, windshield, or tire damage.
• Pull vehicle out of the prep process as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed and possibly transport customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning of interiors and exteriors of branch locations.
• General cleaning tasks: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other cleanliness-related duties.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be willing to work a seasonal position for no longer than 150 days.
• Cannot have held another position, regular or seasonal, with Enterprise Mobility or any of its brands in the past 13 weeks.

Benefits

• This position pays $16 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

• Monday: 8:30am - 6:30pm
• Tuesday: 7:00am - 12:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am - 6:30pm
• Thursday: 8:30am - 6:30pm
• Friday: 8:30am - 6:30pm
• Saturday: OFF

This schedule is associated with the seasonal position with flexible start dates between December and January, and cannot exceed 150 days.
