Pipeline Technician

Must have 3 years of industry experience, experience with perm-liner products, and knowledge of equipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practice.
• Prepares & installs Perma-Liner product to pipes identified for repair.
• Provide effective communication between customers and Wind River Environmental.
• Educate and assist customers on products and service.
• Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure project success.
• Protect pipelining products and keep a well-inventoried truck.
• Participate actively in training exercises, team meetings, and safety discussions.
• Completion and submission of all required paperwork to management.
• Follow all service protocols.
• Ability to work overtime and comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Must practice safe work methods and ability to avoid hazards.
• Required to wear PPE appropriate to the job.

Work Environment

• Regular exposure to outside weather conditions and non-hazardous fumes.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Interaction with customers.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Certified ability to perform Perma-Liner installation.
• Ability to understand instructions in various forms.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, rules, and instructions.
• Effective communication skills.
• Independent work ability and deadline management.
• Basic computer literacy.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam, and road exams.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
