Claims Automotive Team Manager

Job Summary
This position is pivotal in the daily operations of the claims unit, involving the coordination, direction, and oversight of claims activities for the team(s). Responsibilities include providing leadership, support, and coaching to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, alongside technical and customer service Best Practices.

Job Duties

• Review claim files regularly for quality and monitor performance through statistical measures.
• Provide timely coaching and counselling to employees.
• Resolve customer service issues and evaluate customer satisfaction.
• Oversee recruitment and staff development for succession planning.
• Lead meetings to communicate goals and reinforce technical and customer service expectations.
• Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
• Participate in committees and projects to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in Automotive Claims handling is required.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary.
• Ability to lead change effectively.
• Valid Driver's License with good record and insurance required.
