Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Full Time

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full-time Automotive Detailer. The position is located at 5358 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60641, with a starting pay rate of $17.50 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found.
• Verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed.
• Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns, report warning lights and/or damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed and may transport customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interior and exteriors of branch locations.
• Site appearance duties include cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other miscellaneous daily cleanliness tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation and/or at-fault accident on driving record in the past three years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have 12 consecutive months (1 year) of work or organizational experience.
