Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as an Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $17.50 / hour based on a 25 or 40 hour workweek. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. This position will be located in Middlesex County, NJ.

We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry vehicle exterior
• Check fuel level and warning lights
• Inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify registration is present, current and matches license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing if necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers
• Assist customers when needed, may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interior and exterior of branches
• Duties related to daily cleanliness: desks, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping lot
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle is essential
• Valid, unrestricted US driver's license
• Authorized to work in the United States without need for sponsorship now or in the future
• Able to read, write, and understand English
• Living within a reasonable commute (~1 hour) of the location
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
• At least 18 years of age

New Jersey DMV Requirements:

• First-time drivers under 21 must complete mandatory Graduated Driver License (GDL) program requirements for NJ, which gradually introduces driving privileges.
