Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $18.00 / hour. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. This position is located at 745 Columbia Turnpike East Greenbush, NY 12061.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, which may include cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights, vehicle/windshield/tire damage; remove vehicle from prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations (desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other related tasks)
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle is essential
• Valid, unrestricted US driver's license
• Authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from the location
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
• At least 18 years of age

• Sunday: 2:00pm-6:00pm
• Monday: 7:00am-6:00pm
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 8:00am-6:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm
• Saturday: 8:30am-1:30pm

This role is full time with a starting pay rate of $18.00 per hour, with potential for yearly merit increases based on performance.
