Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as an Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $18 per hour. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. This position is located at 2202 Route 50 S, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights
• Inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights or damage
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and general cleaning
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle is essential
• Must have a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from the location
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
