Job Description

About the role

Christian Brothers Automotive
Location: 725 E US Hwy 80 Forney, TX 75126

Are you an automotive leader who doesn't just manage a store—you know how to grow one? Christian Brothers Automotive Forney is looking for a Store Director who is a proven leader, self-starter, and sales-driven business builder who wants more than a job. We are looking for someone who wants to make an impact, develop a team, grow a business, and continue advancing their own career. Our mission is simple: Love your neighbor as yourself. We believe that taking care of our people and our guests the right way creates long-term success.

The Store Director is responsible for leading the overall performance of the location, including people, sales, operations, guest experience, profitability, and business growth. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, setting expectations, coaching a team, and delivering measurable results.

If You're a Builder, We Want to Meet You! If you're the type of leader who walks into a store and immediately starts thinking: “Where are the opportunities? What can we improve? How can I develop this team? How do we grow this business?” we want to talk to you. If you have a proven record of success, a strong work ethic, a servant-leadership mindset, and the drive to take a business to the next level, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the store.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, car count, customer retention, average repair order, closing performance, and profitability.
  • Coach and develop the Service Advisor team in effective, ethical sales and guest communication.
  • Establish measurable goals and follow through on results.
  • Monitor key business performance indicators and take action when results are below expectations.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members.
  • Create an environment where high performers can grow and team members understand what success looks like.
  • Maintain accountability to company policies, procedures, safety standards, and operational expectations.
  • Ensure repairs and recommendations are performed and communicated with honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Protect and strengthen the Christian Brothers Automotive guest experience and reputation in the local community.
  • Build relationships with guests and develop repeat and referral business.
  • Support local marketing and community outreach initiatives that increase awareness and strengthen our presence in Forney.
  • Partner with ownership to identify opportunities, solve problems, and continually improve the business.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and follow established employment, safety, and operational policies.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with CBA systems, processes, and culture is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated leadership or management experience.
  • Proven success in sales, customer service, business development, or a related performance-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable.
  • Ability to analyze performance information and turn it into action.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic by identifying tasks like shop cleaning and assisting without being asked.
  • Maintain an excellent attitude throughout the day, showing a genuine willingness to learn.
  • Engage effectively with the team, asking high-quality, insightful questions whenever he/she encounters unfamiliar operations.
  • Exhibit a “growth mindset” by combining a curiosity for automotive processes with an immediate desire to be helpful.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Being on your feet for the majority of the workday (standing, walking, etc).
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
  • Driving manual transmission vehicles.
  • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
  • Communicating clearly with customers and team members via phone and computer.
