AutoShop Recruiting has partnered with RAW Wheels & Tires to hire an Automotive General Manager in Raleigh, NC. We're looking for a hands-on leader who can grow revenue, develop employees, manage profitability, and deliver a customer experience that brings people back.

If you have experience as an Automotive General Manager, Automotive Service Manager, Tire Store Manager, or Automotive Store Manager, this opportunity puts your sales and leadership skills to work with responsibility for the entire location.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales: Coach your team on customer needs, product recommendations, follow-up, and ethical selling.
• Own store profitability: Review profit-and-loss reports, track performance goals, control expenses, and address gaps.
• Build a strong team: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Lead daily operations: Coordinate showroom activity, wheel and tire installation workflow, and customer service.
• Manage customer accounts: Oversee lease-to-own transactions, account accuracy, payment follow-up, and collections according to company procedures.
• Protect inventory and assets: Maintain accurate inventory, merchandise displays, cash handling, deposits, and operational records.
• Resolve customer concerns: Handle escalations professionally and build lasting customer relationships.
• Maintain standards: Keep the location organized, enforce safety practices, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Develop future leaders: Coach assistant managers and team members to take on greater responsibility.

Requirements

• Experience leading an automotive service, tire retail, or comparable automotive operation.
• Demonstrated success driving sales and improving business performance.
• Experience hiring, coaching, scheduling, and holding employees accountable.
• Working knowledge of P&L reports, expense control, inventory management, and performance metrics.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside your team.
• Comfort managing customer accounts and learning RAW's lease-to-own processes.
• Automotive service-management experience is especially valuable as RAW develops its Auto Care capabilities.
• Previous RAW or rent-to-own experience is not required.
• This is a full-time retail leadership position. Availability to work Saturdays, evenings until 7 p.m. or later, and split days off is required. Travel may be required based on business needs.
