Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a seasonal Automotive Detailer. This position is located at 17353 Lake Worth Rd., Lake Worth, FL 33467. This is a seasonal position that cannot exceed 180 days of service. The season will start November 1st and conclude on April 30th.

The starting rate of pay is $15.50 / hour.

Schedule available:

• Sunday: 12:00pm-4:00pm
• Monday: 8:00am-3:00pm
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 2:00pm-6:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-3:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am-1:00pm

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior.
• Check fuel level and warning lights.
• Inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found.
• Verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed.
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns and report any warnings or damage.
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers.
• Assist customers when needed and may transport customers to/from the branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations.
• Additional site appearance tasks include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other cleaning tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future.
• Seasonal employees may work for up to 180 days during a defined season.
• Must experience a 3 month break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or a regular employee.
