Automotive Assistant & Service Managers

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of its automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Williamsburg, VA area. NTB is proud to join the Mavis Tire Family. With over 4,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the role

Assistant Manager

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively.

Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services.

Responsibilities

Assistant Manager

• Use fundamental leadership skills.
• Enforce established policies, procedures and standards.
• Schedule mechanics/technicians work.
• Manage outside orders.
• Ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs.
• Meet customer expectations and ensure the safety of team members.

Service Manager

• Ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work.
• Drive the sales initiatives of Mavis.
• Communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, and provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with their in-store experience and strive to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

• Share Mavis’s commitment to providing complete customer satisfaction and delivering the highest quality service.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess one of the following:
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales;
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
