About the role

Honolulu Buick GMC Cadillac is hiring an Automotive Detailer.

• Pay: $18.00-$22.00 Hourly DOE
• Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• The average wage range for this position is $18.00-$22.00. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner. Assist all customers promptly and professionally.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Be responsible for cleaning the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
• Clean engine and engine compartments.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and restore the appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces.
• Be responsible for preparation and applications of vehicle protection packages.
• Complete all work assignments according to applicable safety measures.
• Restore the appearance of vehicles to new or like-new condition to the best of your ability.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed.
• Review repairs before delivering the vehicle to the customer to ensure quality of work. Bring any issues with the work performed to the attention of your supervisor.
• Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees, or customers.
• Maintain a valid local area driver's license and immediately inform management of any changes in its status.

Requirements

• Detail experience, 1+ years.
• Automotive Knowledge, 1+ years.
• Excellent communication.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
