Automotive Service Advisor

About the role

McCarthy Auto Group Hyundai in Topeka is continuously growing and is currently looking to fill a full-time Service Advisor position. The team is looking for an experienced candidate with strong written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This is an opportunity to join the McCarthy Hyundai-Lawrence team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and write detailed service orders based on those concerns.
• Review vehicle reports for recalls that need to be completed and verify applicable warranties.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and review recommended and upcoming services.
• Communicate with technicians throughout the repair process to keep customers updated.
• Provide cost estimates for mechanical and maintenance repairs.
• Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above dealership standards.

Requirements

• Reynolds and Reynolds DMS knowledge preferred but not required.
• 1 year of service writing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to sell.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems preferred but not required.
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
