Automotive Service Advisor

As an Automotive Service Advisor with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person our guests look to when they need help with their vehicles. Guests see you every time they make an investment in their vehicle, which means you play a large role in building relationships with them. Service Advisors guide guests through the entire repair process, keep them informed about the status of their vehicle, and ensure their satisfaction before they leave our facility.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest who enters our facility with hospitality and respect.
• Present the best solution to properly repair our guest's vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understand.
• Manage the store's workflow in an effective and efficient manner.
• Consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrity.
• Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times.
• Communicate on the phone in a clear, professional manner.
• Build long-term relationships between the store, yourself, and the guest.
• Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing guest service activities.
• Shuttle guests as needed in a CBA-branded vehicle.
• Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
• Work together as a team and assist other employees as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Be an upbeat, honest, and self-aware person who still has a full tank of gas inside them.
• Experience sourcing accurate parts, building tickets, and presenting repairs is required.
• Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier.
• Proficiency in Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications. TekMetric is helpful, as are other programs like Parts-Tech.
• Experience in an automotive customer service role, an automotive service sales role, or a Service Writer/Advisor role is preferred.
• Dependable and reliable for a position scheduled Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm.
• Be on your feet for the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.).
• Occasionally lift and carry objects over 50 lbs.
• Maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
