About the role

As an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are the person our customers see every time they make an investment in their vehicle. For these reasons, you play a large role in building relationships with our customers.

Service Advisors are responsible for taking our guests through the entire repair process, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicle and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.

Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity, and a philosophy of people first. All 300+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. Responsibilities

• Greet every guest who enters our facility with hospitality and respect.
• Present the best solution to properly repair our guest's vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understand.
• Consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrity.
• Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times.
• Communicate on the phone in a clear, professional manner.
• Build long-term relationships between the store, yourself, and the guest.
• Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing guest service activities.
• Shuttle guests as needed.
• Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
• Work together as a team and assist other employees as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven successful customer service experience is required; driven to serve others.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and customers.
• Team mentality.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Meet required insurance driving record parameters.
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment (we work hard but like to have fun doing it).
• A safety-conscious attitude.
• Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to type on a standard QWERTY keyboard a minimum of 25 WPM.

Physical Requirements:

• Being dependable and reliable for a position scheduled Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm.
• Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.).
• Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
• Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
